"Highly recommend Lacuna Wills and especially Christopher Fooks I will admit that I had never heard of a Lasting Power of Attorney until it came to the care of my mother suffering with vascular dementia as well as Cancer. It was at this most distressing of times that I came to fully understand their legislative power and worth.
On a personal front my mother’s LPAs offered me guidance and insight into her thoughts and wishes should the time arise when she was no longer able to tell me of them herself. As her care needs increased in respect of confusion and pain respite, I especially loved the fact that her Wellness LPA gave me the power to refuse invasive/painful techniques on her behalf (she was aged 92) and to also insist on additional pain medication in the face of her obvious distress outside of prescribed medication times. I loved the fact that I was attentively listened to in respect of all her care needs and wishes, and believe this was solely because she had an LPA in place. They really are a document of immense power and care worth. I contacted Lacuna Wills in respect of a Lasting Power of Attorney for each of MY care/wellbeing and finance needs, wanting to offer my children, should they ever find themselves in a similar situation, the support and guidance of telling them how I would like my care to look, reducing the need for distressing guesswork on their part. I cannot rate Christopher Fooks more highly, being a person of exceptional warmth, compassion and integrity, who patiently explained everything clearly and simply and left me with the feeling that I can now relax and live my life, knowing that my children will have a clear outline as to how I would wish to live my life should a time ever arise when I am unable to express it to them myself." “We used Chris to sort out all of our Wills etc, after we had a pretty tough couple of years with close family members passing. We suddenly realised we had nothing in place should the worst happen. Chris came to our home at a time convenient to us, and talked us through a variety of options, some of which we knew nothing about! He did all of this in a relaxed, friendly manner and seemed genuinely interested in doing the right thing for us - all of this with compassion considering our previous years. He arranged our Wills, Power of attorney statements and helped to move our finances in to trust funds, as well as helping us to pay for our funerals!
